We are currently growing seeds in the Nursery and looking at size and measuring.
Practice the rhymes with the children at home.
Ask them to show you the actions to accompany the words.
I FOUND A LITTLE MARIGOLD
I found a little marigold
I put it in a pot.
I watered it and watered it,
It needed such a lot.
It grew and it grew
Until it reached the top.
Then it opened very wide,
And then it went off POP!
GROWING
I'm so big,
I'm so small,
I'm so tiny,
I'm nothing at all!
I strech and stretch,
and grow and grow,
I'm as tall as a giant
With a HO! HO! HO!
