Dear Parent/Carer,
It has been another brilliant week at Downsell Primary School.
On Tuesday, it was Safer Internet Day and our children had an assembly detailing how to stay safe online.
On Wednesday, we hosted an Able Maths day for Year 3 and 4 children across the borough. We were joined by Julia Smith who is one of the UK’s leading maths tutors.
On Thursday, year 2 and year 5 were visited by the London Fire Brigade who talked about the work they do in the local community.
On Friday, we had another non-uniform day where we raised money for the charity Children with Cancer UK. I am really pleased with all the support that the school is giving to the charity. Thank you to all the parents/carers for the donations so far!
Overall it has been a fantastic week. I hope you have a good weekend. I will see you all at the gates on Monday morning.
